The Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their 13th straight loss. They fell 43-32 to Absarokee. If Reed Point/Rapelje was looking for revenge after losing 37-27 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Several Renegades players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ben Broyles, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Axel Blodgett, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Reed Point/Rapelje's defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Absarokee, their victory bumped their record up to 2-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reed Point/Rapelje has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Rockets at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th. Roberts and the Renegades are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Absarokee, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Scouts at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
