 Meanwhile, St. Henry fell victim to a  tough 19-3 loss at the hands of Campbell County  on Thursday. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for St. Henry in their matchups with Campbell County: they've now lost six in a row.
 Boone County's win  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 2-11. As for St. Henry, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
 Everything went Boone County's way against St. Henry in their previous meeting  back in May of 2023 as Boone County made off with  a  15-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Boone County since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
