When it comes to explaining why Englewood Stem lost, one person who can't be blamed is Saniya Buchanan. Despite the final result, she scored 17 points. That was a full 37.8% of Englewood Stem's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Kennedy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-7. As for Englewood Stem, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
