The Reno Huskies will head out on the road to challenge the Bishop Manogue Miners at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Reno will be strutting in after a victory while the Miners will be coming in after a loss.
Last Tuesday, Reno faced the Mustangs in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Reno came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 61-49.
Meanwhile, Bishop Manogue suffered a rough 67-44 defeat at the hands of the Cougars on Tuesday.
Reno's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Bishop Manogue, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.
Reno beat the Miners 49-39 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Reno since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
