They took a 46-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Heritage Christian Academy. Crossroads Christian Academy lost against Heritage Christian Academy in their previous head to head two weeks ago, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 47-27 score last time.
Crossroads Christian Academy's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Grant Smith, who scored 14 points. Smith scored a full 38.9% of Crossroads Christian Academy's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Agendo Fitzgerald, who scored 10 points.
Crossroads Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Heritage Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Crossroads Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Faith Baptist Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Faith Baptist Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Tuesday. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against First Academy on Friday.
