While Ore City's win against Carlisle wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Ore City sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Carlisle on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Rebels as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Ore City pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs across that stretch. As for Carlisle, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ore City will host Harleton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harleton's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Ore City's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Carlisle, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Union Grove at 7:00 p.m. Carlisle is facing Union Grove at the right time seeing as Union Grove is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
