Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Selkirk). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Republic Tigers a 26-0 shutout on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Selkirk has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Republic, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1.
