The Providence Hall Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 38-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Park City.
Providence Hall's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ireland Anderson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Paige Krebs, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Providence Hall has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Park City, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-15.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Providence Hall will take on Juan Diego Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Providence Hall is on a three-game streak of home losses, Juan Diego Catholic a seven-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. Park City will take on Murray at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
