Sullivan enjoyed a cozy 67-49 victory over North Knox on Tuesday. Given Sullivan's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while North Knox is ranked 364th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Sullivan was led to victory by Cooper Bock and Javyn Woodard. Bock scored 18 points along with five rebounds and three blocks, while Woodard scored 19 points along with five assists. Another player making a difference was Seth Pirtle, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Sullivan's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for North Knox, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sullivan will take on South Putnam at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Putnam is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 53.5 points per game. As for North Knox, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
