Hinsdale Central had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Proviso West Panthers 9-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 on Monday.

Hinsdale Central's victory bumped their record up to 13-15. As for Proviso West, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-21.

Hinsdale Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-2 win against Oak Park-River Forest on the 14th. Hopefully Proviso West paid attention to the Red Devils' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
