After having lost a blowout in their game last week, Newburyport were happy to find some success on Friday. They skirted past Bedford 28-26.
The win got Newburyport back to even at 2-2. Bedford are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Next week Newburyport take on Triton Regional at 7:00 PM. Unlike Newburyport, Triton Regional will be limping in after taking a loss. As for Bedford, they will face off against Boston Latin. Both of those teams have had a rocky road up to this point with five consecutive losses for Bedford and four for Boston Latin.
