After a string of three wins, the Dayton Bulldogs's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 55-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brearley. The game was a 21-21 toss-up at halftime, but Dayton was outscored by Brearley in the second.
Dayton lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kyle Rosenstock, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Luke Sherman, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Dayton's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Brearley, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dayton will face off against Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brearley will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against New Providence at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd.
