Floyd Central's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ronnie Samons, who scored 22 points. The contest was Samons' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Braden Moore was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 9 rebounds and 7 assists.
Perry County Central's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Floyd Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.
