While East Webster's victory against Louisville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wolverines sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Wildcats on Saturday. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

East Webster's record is now 16-5. As for Louisville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Webster will face off against Kosciusko at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Louisville, they will square off against Quitman at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.48 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
