Somersworth dodged a bullet last Friday, finishing off Kearsarge/Mount Royal Academy 28-27. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.
Meanwhile, Trinity put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They blew past Stevens 39-6. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Trinity had established a 27-6 advantage.
Their wins bumped Trinity to 6-2 and Somersworth to 4-4. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
