Yates Center is 1-6 against the Lancers since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Yates Center Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Southeast Lancers at 7:00 p.m. Yates Center is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 60-25, which was the final score in Yates Center's tilt against the Wildcats on Friday.
Meanwhile, Southeast fought the good fight in their overtime contest against the Lancers on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 39-38 to the Lancers.
Yates Center dropped their record down to 0-13 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Southeast, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
Yates Center took a serious blow against the Lancers in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, falling 70-22. Can Yates Center avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
