The Covenant Classical Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Grace Academy Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Covenant Classical is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
Covenant Classical scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Sheets Memorial Christian 68-19 on the road. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Meanwhile, Grace Academy suffered a rough 61-36 loss at the hands of Jackson Day on Tuesday. Grace Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Grace Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Austin Miller, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds, and Julianna Simonelli who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Kaleigh Tyson, who scored six points.
Covenant Classical is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Grace Academy, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
