Kevin Thomson threw for five touchdowns as
Auburn Riverside (Auburn, Wash.) defeated
Kent-Meridian (Kent, Wash.) 50-27 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Thomson to
Michael Lucchesi in the first quarter, the Ravens led 21-12 at the half.
Auburn Riverside grew its lead to 23 points entering the fourth quarter. AR scored four times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by Thomson to
Drew Wallen.
Thomson dashed for two rushing touchdowns during Auburn Riverside's triumph.
The Auburn school avenged last year's 24-7 loss to the Royals with the victory.
