Southern Missouri RUSH enjoyed a cozy 40-22 victory over Mid-Missouri HomeSchool. The win made it back-to-back wins for Southern Missouri RUSH.
Southern Missouri RUSH had a senior duo take command as Lillian Mindeman scored 20 points along with three steals and two blocks and Hannah Gibbons scored 16 points along with six rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Mindeman has scored at least a third of Southern Missouri RUSH's points.
Despite the loss, Mid-Missouri HomeSchool saw an underclassman step up: Tara Marks scored 14 points.
Southern Missouri RUSH has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. As for Mid-Missouri HomeSchool, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-12.
Southern Missouri RUSH didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 47-36 defeat vs. Metro Academy on the 9th. Mid-Missouri HomeSchool has also already played their next contest, a 51-37 win against Kansas City East Christian Academy on the 10th.
