The Silas Rams will square off against the Bellarmine Prep Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Silas will be strutting in after a win while Bellarmine Prep will be coming in after a loss.
Silas took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Capital as Silas made off with a 12-2 victory.

Natalie Medalia made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Medalia was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, two stolen bases, and five RBI while going 3-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kaydence Griffith, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. Hailey Carter was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Silas was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .538. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .320 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 runs the game before, Bellarmine Prep was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They lost 9-1 to Curtis. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost four in a row.
Bellarmine Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sara Estudillo, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
Bellarmine Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Silas, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Monday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Silas has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .538. However, it's not like Bellarmine Prep struggles in that department as they've averaged .634. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
