Two dominant signal callers in Drew Hilfiker and Zymier Jackson are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Webster Schroeder Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the East/World of Inquiry at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Webster Schroeder can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. Everything went their way against Churchville-Chili as Webster Schroeder made off with a 27-7 win.
Hilfiker and Anthony DeRosa were among the main playmakers for Webster Schroeder as the former rushed for 28 yards and a touchdown and the latter rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.
Meanwhile, East/World of Inquiry put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Wilson Magnet/Early College International 52-0 at home. East/World of Inquiry pushed the score to 38-0 by the end of the third, a deficit Wilson Magnet/Early College International had no chance of recovering from.
Among those leading the charge was Jackson, who threw for 146 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Anthony Diaz also helped out with an impressive 99 receiving yards.
Webster Schroeder's victory bumped their record up to 4-4. As for East/World of Inquiry, their victory was their eighth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-0.
