The Hampton Roads Academy Navigators will take on the Christchurch School Seahorses at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hampton Roads Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.
Hampton Roads Academy will bounce into Wednesday's matchup after beating Norfolk Christian, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Navigators walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Ambassadors on Tuesday. The Navigators haven't had any issues with the Ambassadors recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Paul Bennett-Northam looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has become a key player for Hampton Roads Academy: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most one hit, but 3-8 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Hampton Roads Academy let Graham Hutchens and George Kokolis run wild. Hutchens went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Kokolis went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs Kokolis has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Overman, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple.
Meanwhile, Christchurch School was not able to break out of their rough patch last Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 9-1 to The Covenant.
Trey Fitchett was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Christchurch School's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Hampton Roads Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Hampton Roads Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Christchurch School struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Hampton Roads Academy's way against Christchurch School in their previous matchup back in March, as Hampton Roads Academy made off with a 9-0 win. Do the Navigators have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Seahorses turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
