The Powers Catholic Chargers put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 92-65 win over Fenton. Considering Powers Catholic has won four matchups by more than 21 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Powers Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Connor Kelly, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Dedivanaj, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds.
Powers Catholic has yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 5-0 record. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25.33 points. As for Fenton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
Powers Catholic will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North Branch at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. As for Fenton, they will head out on the road to face off against Swartz Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
