Pleasant Plains extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 10-4-1 in the process. They blew past the Riverton Hawks 16-1. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hawks, too.
Paige Sours made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Sours was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those two hits gave her a new career-high.
