Simon Gratz waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on Hill Freedman World Academy with a sharp 12-2 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won four matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Sabre Bragg, who scored four runs and stole six bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Aviles, who got two hits.

Simon Gratz pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Hill Freedman World Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Simon Gratz will host Overbrook at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
