Pine Grove is 9-1 against Hickory Flat since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Pine Grove Panthers will be playing at home against the Hickory Flat Rebels at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Pine Grove duked it out with Walnut on Thursday. Pine Grove lost 12-2 to Walnut. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pine Grove saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reagan Childs, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Childs also put up a stolen base, which was her first of the season.

Meanwhile, Hickory Flat was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Falkner, falling 19-4.

Pine Grove's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hickory Flat, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Pine Grove took their win against Hickory Flat when the teams last played on Saturday by a conclusive 19-0. Does Pine Grove have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hickory Flat turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
