The Friendswood Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Manvel Mavericks at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
For the first time since back in January, Friendswood was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. They and Texas City finished up their game with a 2-2 draw.
Meanwhile, Manvel kept a clean sheet against Ball on Saturday. They had just enough and edged the Tornadoes out 1-0.
Friendswood's draw gives them a new season record of 3-8-3. As for Manvel, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7-2.
Friendswood skirted past Manvel 1-0 when the teams last played back in March of 2023. Will Friendswood repeat their success, or does Manvel have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
