It was a good run, but the Arlington Tigers unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 58-27 defeat at the hands of Collierville. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Arlington has scored all season.
Arlington lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cydney Hurt, who scored nine points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zaria Moss, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Arlington has fallen quite a ways from their 21-9 record last season and are now at 4-8. As for Collierville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.
Arlington will head out on the road to face off against Germantown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Tennessee (Germantown is ranked 237th, while Arlington is ranked 260th). As for Collierville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bartlett at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bartlett is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
