Meanwhile, Greenwood Mennonite can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They breezed by Fairwinds Christian on the road to the tune of 49-9. Winning may never get old, but Greenwood Mennonite sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Greenwood Mennonite can attribute much of their success to Laci Mast, who scored 12 points along with eight steals, and Faith Troyer, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Mast is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Nona Wright was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with ten rebounds.
Faith Baptist School pushed their record up to 6-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Greenwood Mennonite, their victory bumped their record up to 14-2.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Faith Baptist School have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 33.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Greenwood Mennonite struggles in that department as they've been averaging 37.1 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
