The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in strikeouts. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, Zariah Galvan was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 1-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kacy Hawkins, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Alpine pushed their record up to 5-12 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Odessa, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
