Northwest Christian School will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Wilbur-Creston at 3:00 PM. The teams both are strolling into their match after big wins in their previous games.
Northwest Christian School might be getting used to good results now that the team have three wins in a row. Everything came up roses for them against Davenport last Friday as the team secured a 49-14 victory. Senior Silas Perreiah, who rushed for 246 yards and 5 touchdowns, was a major factor in Northwest Christian School's success. In fact, with ten tackles Perreiah was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Wilbur-Creston put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on Kettle Falls to the tune of 42-0. Wilbur-Creston were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 5-1. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
