Among those leading the charge was Allison Russell, who scored 13 points along with seven steals and six assists. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellie Liggitt, who scored five points along with 12 rebounds.
Elkhart Christian Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-11. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Hamilton, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
Elkhart Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Trinity at 7:30 p.m. As for Hamilton, they will head out on the road to face off against Clinton Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Clinton Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
