While West Jessamine might've come up empty on Saturday, Hayden Peters wasn't going down without a fight. Peters tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Peters and West Jessamine are taking a road trip to take on Mercer County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
