Cornwall Central (New Windsor, N.Y.) beat
Wallkill (N.Y.) 48-21 after a solid game from
Mike White, who rushed for five touchdowns. Thanks to the stand out performance the senior now has nine touchdowns on the season.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by White in the first quarter, the Dragons led 27-0 at the half.
Cornwall Central grew its lead to 34 points entering the fourth quarter. CC scored three times in the third, including once on a kick return touchdown by
Tyler Peddie.
With the win the New Windsor school extended its winning streak to nine games. Cornwall Central defeated Port Jervis 41-6 last week.
The defeat comes as a step back for Wallkill, who notched a 55-47 victory over Roosevelt in its previous outing. The loss ended Wallkill's two-game winning streak.
