Juanita is 6-1 against Hazen since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Ravens will take on the Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. Juanita will be strutting in after a win while Hazen will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Wednesday, Juanita was able to grind out a solid victory over Liberty, taking the game 4-1.

Max Starikov looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has become a key player for Juanita: the team is 6-2 when he allows at most one hit, but 1-3 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Ronan Scoffield was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Ian Flynn, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Hazen didn't have quite enough to beat Redmond on Wednesday and fell 3-2.
Sam Nicholson was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Hazen saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rydan Corwin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Juanita is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Hazen, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Juanita has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Hazen struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Juanita's way against Hazen when the teams last played back in March, as Juanita made off with a 10-4 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ravens since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
