 On the hitting side,  Michael Parker was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 3-for-4 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  double. Those  three  hits gave  him a new career-high.  Sam Skubic also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  triple of the season.
 Even though they lost, Boulder  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least ten  hits in three consecutive  matches.

 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boulder will be defending their home field for the first time this season  when they go up against Mountain Range  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for John Carroll Catholic, they will face off against Bishop Verot at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Bishop Verot will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something John Carroll Catholic surely won't give up without a fight.
