Campbell County is a perfect 4-0 against Kelly Walsh since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Camels will welcome the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Campbell County is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wyoming's top teams: Sheridan, who was ranked third at the time (Campbell County was ranked second). The Camels blew past the Broncs 11-1 on Friday.

Sam Torres was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Campbell County got a big performance out of Lanae Kimbley, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Kimbley is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Courtney Thayer was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Campbell County hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are a perfect 13-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Meanwhile, Kelly Walsh waltzed into their match two weeks ago with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 17-2 win. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for the Trojans this season.
Campbell County is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Kelly Walsh, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
Campbell County took their victory against Kelly Walsh in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 21-1 score. Will the Camels repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
