Despite a strong season so far, the Teaneck Highwaymen have seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They fell 34-27 to River Dell on Wednesday. Teaneck has not had much luck with River Dell recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Teaneck had strong showings from Adriel Perez, who rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns, and Isaac Combs III, who rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. Combs III's longest rush was for an incredible 83 yards.
Teaneck's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for River Dell, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8.
Teaneck will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Hackensack on November 23rd. River Dell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
