The Polson Pirates won against the Ronan Chiefs  last Tuesday with 45  points and they decided to stick to that  point total again  on Tuesday. Polson managed a  45-41 victory over Ronan. That's two games straight that Polson has won by exactly four  points.
 Polson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Aleysia Black, who  scored 12 points along with six  rebounds.  Rylee Taylor-jefferson was another key contributor,  scoring 12 points along with three  steals.
 The  victory  makes it two in a row for Polson and  bumps their season record up to 5-5. As for Ronan, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
 Polson will head out on the road to  challenge  Columbia Falls at 4:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Montana (Columbia Falls is ranked 76th, while Polson is ranked 73rd). As for Ronan, they will look to defend their home court  on Saturday against Bigfork at 6:00  p.m. Bigfork is coming into the  matchup hot, having won their last eight games.
