The Hesston Swathers won the last time they faced the Nickerson Panthers, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. Hesston blew past Nickerson 57-33. With that  victory, Hesston brought their scoring average up to 53  points per game.
 Hesston was led to victory by  Adrian Hernandez and  Reed Friesen.  Hernandez  scored 20 points, while  Friesen  scored 15 points along with 9  rebounds and 3  steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which  Hernandez has scored at least 25% of Hesston's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Asher Deutschendorf, who  scored 8 points.
 Despite the loss, Nickerson still got an impressive performance from   Garrett Crossman, who  scored 14 points.
 Nickerson  struggled to get the ball back on offense and  finished the game with only  a  offensive rebound. They  were crushed by their opponents in that department as Hesston  pulled down eight.
 The  win  makes it two in a row for Hesston and  bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Nickerson,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 0-2.
 Hesston will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Garden Plain at 7:30  p.m. As for Nickerson, they will square off against Rose Hill at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
