Crimson Cliffs not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since March 7th. They put the hurt on the Tooele Buffaloes with a sharp 8-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Buffaloes: they've now won five in a row.

MADDEN NIELSEN looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single hit and allowed only one earned run over four innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single hit, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on MCKAY WRIGHT, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted over his last 11 matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of RAYCE BENNETT, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.
