After soaring to 67 points the game before, Mt. Hermon were a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were dealt a 69-24 defeat at the hands of Holden. Mt. Hermon has not had much luck with the Rockets recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Meanwhile, Pearl River's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 86-48 loss at the hands of Salmen.
Mt. Hermon's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Pearl River, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-15.
Mt. Hermon strolled past the Rebels in their previous matchup back in January of 2020 by a score of 77-59. Will Mt. Hermon repeat their success, or do the Rebels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
