Peyton Dison put up the most passing yards she's had since back in April of 2024 on Thursday. She threw for 144 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 44 yards and one touchdown. Her passing game has become a key predictor of Lecanto's success: the team is undefeated when her passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 3-7 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Dison and Lecanto will welcome Nature Coast Tech at 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Sharks thanks in part to Dison: she threw for 165 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 31 yards.
