McClave is 8-2 against Granada since December of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the McClave Cardinals duke it out with the Granada Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. One thing working in McClave's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.
McClave is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Stratton just ended the team's nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 67-59 to the Eagles.

Despite the loss, McClave got top-tier performance from Tuff Kelley, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 18 boards. The dominant performance gave Kelley a new career-high in points. Jr. Mungaray was another key player, putting up six points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Even though they lost, McClave smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 12 consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Granada's strategy against Kit Carson on Friday. Granada enjoyed a cozy 53-34 win over Kit Carson. The victory was nothing new for the Bobcats as they're now sitting on three straight.
Granada's win came from a few key players McClave will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Angelo Martinez, who went 5 of 7 en route to 14 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddox Coleman, who went 7 for 8 on his way to 18 points.
Granada's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for McClave, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: McClave has been crashing the rebounds this season, having averaged 35.5 boards per game. However, it's not like Granada struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.8 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
McClave strolled past Granada in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 54-35. Will McClave repeat their success, or does Granada have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
