Emerson Vo-Tech has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Grand Island Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Monday, Emerson Vo-Tech lost to the Frontiers at home by a decisive 59-41 margin.
Meanwhile, Grand Island pushed their score all the way to 56 two weeks ago, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 66-56 to Lackawanna.
Emerson Vo-Tech dropped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Grand Island, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Emerson Vo-Tech strolled past the Vikings in their previous meeting back in February of 2020 by a score of 55-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Emerson Vo-Tech since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
