The Channelview Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their seventh straight loss. They were outmatched by Pasadena Memorial at home and fell 79-33. Channelview has not had much luck with Pasadena Memorial recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
It was another big night for Gwendlyn Mcgrew, who scored 29 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals for Pasadena Memorial. That makes it six consecutive games in which Mcgrew has scored at least a third of Pasadena Memorial's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cassandra Perez, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Channelview bumped their record down to 2-13 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Pasadena Memorial, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Sam Rayburn the next time they take the court. Pasadena Memorial will head out to face Sam Rayburn at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Channelview will host them at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
