Berne Union had to endure a 14-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 42-38 win over Liberty Christian Academy on Thursday. Berne Union's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Meanwhile, Bishop Rosecrans' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell to Wellington School 34-28. While losing is never fun, Bishop Rosecrans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 656th, while Wellington School is ranked 292nd).
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Emily Jenkins, who scored nine points along with 11 rebounds.
Even though they lost, Bishop Rosecrans smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Berne Union's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-13. As for Bishop Rosecrans, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.
