You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Hoggard's strategy against Topsail on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Hoggard Vikings blew the Topsail Pirates out of the water with a 78-45 final score. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Hoggard was led to victory by Lawson Brown and Hunter McGrath. Brown went 8-for-11 on his way to 19 points, while McGrath went 5-for-7 to rack up 14 points and five assists. Another player making a difference was Gups Clucas, who posted nine points.

Hoggard's victory bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Topsail, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-15.

Looking ahead, Hoggard will face off against Laney at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hoggard is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 67.1 points per game this season. Topsail does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
