There's no place like home for Westwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Valley Vista Monsoon by a score of 6-1 on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Monsoon: they've now won three in a row.

Westwood's record now sits at 10-6. As for Valley Vista, they moved to 5-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westwood will host Mesa at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Mesa has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.82 runs per game on average), something Westwood will no doubt try to take advantage of.
