The Stillwater Christian Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 37 points or more this season. They really took it to Helena HomeSchool for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-30 victory at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-17.
Stillwater Christian was led to victory by Ryan Buzzard and Cooper Dudley. Buzzard scored 12 points along with four steals, while Dudley scored 19 points. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Carson Miller, who scored eight points.
Stillwater Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Helena HomeSchool, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Stillwater Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bonners Ferry at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Helena HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
